This luxury suite by Smith & Butler has been designed to reflect the esteemed hotel’s Victorian heritage, weaving in elegant touches from the first half of the 20th century.
The Prince Alexander Suite is named after the Yugoslavian Crown Prince, who was born in the suite in exile 1945.
The palatial rooms incorporate sumptuous upholstered pieces, carved headboards and period-style case goods made by Ben Whistler.
In the living area, Ben Whistler made a pair of velvet sofas with bullion fringe and decorative banding.
While the bedroom features a fabric-covered carved headboard, as well as a gilded bench and petite sofa.
Armchairs, a desk chair and benches in the bathroom complete the design.
